DR. DARLENE PERNER, PRESIDENT-ELECT
Darlene Perner currently serves as Associate Professor at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. She earned her master's degrees from the State University of New York (SUNY) and SUNY College at Buffalo and doctorate from the University of British Columbia. Darlene has been a special and a regular education teacher and supervisor, and a Canadian provincial government consultant and policy analyst. She has made invited presentations nationally and internationally, consulted internationally for UNESCO and OECD, and has authored/co-authored books, chapters and journal articles focusing on inclusive education, differentiated instruction and assessment. Dr. Perner has been an active member of NERA since 1989. She has served NERA as Conference Co-Chair and a Co-Editor of The NERA Researcher. |
