Charles DePascale is a senior associate at the National Center for the Improvement of Educational Assessment, Inc.  Since joining the Center in 2002, his work has focused on providing technical support to states and other organizations on policies and issues related to the design, implementation, and use of large-scale assessment and accountability systems.  His current work is focused on assessment, data, and measurement literacy for assessment users including educators, students and parents, policymakers, and researchers.

Charlie has been an active participant in regional organizations including the Northeast SAS Users Group from 1991 – 2003 and the New England Educational Research Organization, serving in various roles on the NEERO board of directors since 1997.  He has been involved in NERA since 2006 and served as a member of the Board of Directors from 2011 – 2014.
