Haifa Matos, Ph.D. is an Independent Research Scientist with nearly 15 years of experience in educational research and measurement. Dr. Matos began her career at the College Board as a graduate intern conducting research and analyses on students taking AP, PSAT, and SAT exams. She remained at College Board for over a decade, gaining expertise in learning theories, reporting systems, and standardized assessments. Dr. Matos has been an active member of NERA since 2008. Over the years she has reviewed proposal submissions, served as Session Chair, Discussant, and Co-Editor of the NERA Researcher. She currently serves as NERA Secretary and is looking forward to continuing to serve NERA as Program Co-Chair in 2021.
