NINA DENG, PRESIDENT

Nina Deng is the Director of Learning Analytics and Psychometrics Team at Kaplan Inc., which is an organization providing educational services, professional training, and test preparation to students and universities. Prior to that, she was the Lead Psychometrician and Research Scientist in a number of statewide K-12 large-scale assessments. She was an Assistant Professor at University of Massachusetts Medical School in the health outcomes research. She received her Ed.D. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Nina has been actively participating NERA since 2007. Prior to her current role as President-Elect, she has served the roles of Membership Committee Member and Chair (2013-2015), and Board of Directors (2017-2020). She is looking forward to strengthening NERA as the warm, inspiring, and intellectual home for educational researchers.
